BOXING - Harrison vs. MEDINA

Hey boxing fans...

Is anyone interested in the upcoming Manuel Medina vs. Scott Harrison rematch this Saturday in Scotland. Manuel Medina totally outboxed Harrison the first time, and I heard through the grapevine that he's very confident and looking good in training camp. Harrison hasn't made any adjustments, which I feel is a mistake. I layed $100 on Medina at wsex to win for +170. I know Medina has Harrison's number, just like Vernon has Mosley's number, and Mayorga has Vernon's number. Medina has Harrison's number. Medina will win another decision. Even Teddy Atlas is picking Medina.

Harrison backers in UK are saying it's a mistake to take the rematch right away. I'd have to go with Medina in this one.

Wish I would have seen this thread sooner. I could have told you guys that Harrison was sick the first time and was only throwing about 50 punches a round compared to the normal 80-100 that he throws. Harrison was quick to take the rematch for that reason.

i had harrison in a boxing parlay next weekend...i know i`m posting after the fact,but,i didn`t see medina beating a stronger,younger guy in his backyard twice in a row......i understand medina won handily the first time,but only got a split decision.....

he would have had to brutalize harrison to walk out with the title the second time...

and valdosta alluded to the harrison illness...i doubt that,myself...i just think the first fight could be attributed to harrison`s cockiness and his unfamiliarity with such a cagey,crafty veteran.....g.l.
